Nikolay Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov.

Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov is an outstanding Russian composer, a pedagogue, a man who played a great part in musical and public life of Russia of his time. The heritage of his creative activity is enormous, it includes 15 operas, 3 symphonies, a number of orchestral compositions and romances. When he was ony 17, he has started composing the symphony which was to become the first symphony created by a Russian composer. He also was the collector and publisher of Russian folk songs and the author of several books and articles devoted to different aspects of art of musiñ.
